Study Bibles: Priceless Tools for Kenyan Village Pastors
When you travel over 11,000 miles to train pastors and church leaders you really want to bring something important! Well, what could be more important than the Word of God?! We are pleased to let you know that we brought 300 Bibles for Kenyan pastors and church leaders! And not just a Bible that you could buy at a local store – these were Africa Study Bibles! The notes and commentary in the Africa Study Bible have been written by theologically-trained Africans and incorporate culturally relevant material to help these pastors and church leaders in the very context where they live!
We are so thankful for our partner Christianbook International Outreach for the generous gift of these Bibles. Without the help of this amazing ministry we would not be able to deliver Bibles to pastors and church leaders who are eagerly wanting to study the Word of God. These Bibles contain so many notes and commentaries they can use to serve their congregations! The Kenyan pastors and leaders received their Bibles with tremendous joy in their hearts – even though they might not express their joy with an “American Smile” that you might expect from someone in the states! There are now many Kenyan village churches with a pastor or leader who has a Bible they can use to bless their congregation. Praise God for His Word!
